HypZert sets the benchmark – Germanys leading personal certification body for real estate valuers.

Somebody who is financing or investing in real estate needs a well-founded basis for his decisions: A competent and transparent real estate valuation issued by a valuer with a respectable qualification and continuous further training. Both are guaranteed by HypZert. Since 1996 the certification body of Germany's financial industry umbrella organisations certifies real estate valuers according to the sophisticated and international accredited criteria of the world-norm ISO/IEC 17024. With these standards we ensure a maximum of comparability and transparency at the real estate markets.

All business people and engineers who want to get certified by HypZert must fulfil the following qualifications: A high education level, professional work, long-time work experience, compliance with professional standards and financial know-how. In exchange we offer a lot: Individual certification areas at the highest international level, examination of the valuer`s performed work and evaluation on a regular basis by re-certification – in addition the assurance that HypZert certified valuers are in great demand and appreciated by clients and employers.

HypZert certifications are accredited by several national and international accreditation bodies. For example HypZert was one of the first organisations to receive an accreditation for the certification of real estate valuers for financial purposes - CIS HypZert (F) according to ISO/IEC 17024 by the Trägergemeinschaft für Akkreditierung GmbH (TGA). Meanwhile the Dutch Raad voor Accreditatie (RvA) and the  German Accreditation System for Testing (DAP) accredited all of HypZert`s certification areas. In addition the Appraisal Institute, one of leading organisations for real estate valuers worldwide, appreciates the high quality of HypZert certifications.

These high standards and the international accreditation give HypZert certifications, that round about 860 valuers obtained since 1996, an outstanding reputation in the real estate business. Today many financial institutions, among them almost every German state bank and mortgage bank, employ predominantly valuers who hold a HypZert certificate. That is because theses valuers fulfil the requirements according to § 6 of the "Regulation on the Determination of the Mortgage Lending Value": A certificate based on ISO/IEC 17024 as well as some special knowledge and experience in the mortgage lending value. Hence HypZert certificate holders are state of the art and HypZert is Germanys leading personal certification body for real estate valuers. In the future HypZert will enlarge its business and give important impulses into the industry.
